Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Cornell empowers researchers, inventors, and entrepreneurs to transform their innovations from ideas into startups, technologies, and solutions that make a real-world impact.

Supported by the division of Research & Innovation, we provide innovators with the mentorship, training, programming, and funding to thrive at every step of their entrepreneurial journey.

Center for Technology Licensing

Assists faculty and researchers in translating their discoveries into marketable innovations for society.

Center for Regional Economic Advancement

Offers community and Cornell-based entrepreneurs over 20 programs to start and grow new ventures.

Entrepreneurship at Cornell

I-Corps Hub: Interior Northeast

Trains faculty, postdocs, faculty, students, and other researchers in ways to discover customers for their science and technology.


Incubators and Accelerators

Cornell’s life-science incubator helps young companies develop their offerings to the point where they can attract significant outside investment and achieve self-sufficiency.

Focused on engineering, digital and physical sciences companies, Cornell’s Praxis Center assists startups as they work toward gaining outside investments and independent operation.

Rev offers mentorship, co-working space, events, and networking for new and expanding businesses with plans to scale and create jobs in the region. Space is available for Cornell and regional startups.

Three hardware-based accelerators offer access space to develop prototypes, business models, and pitches focused on: Manufacturing, Prototyping, and Protofacturing.

BioVentures eLab works with scientists, clinicians, inventors and entrepreneurs to launch biomedical products, ventures and technologies.

Part business school, part research institution, part startup incubator, this program supports mentorship for students developing new products and opportunities.
