Research & Innovation
- advocates for Cornell researchers, working with external agencies, sponsors and government representatives;
- provides research administrative support services across the Ithaca and Cornell Tech campuses;
- coordinates shared research infrastructure, including open user facilities, laboratories, institutes and multidisciplinary research centers;
- facilitates cross-college and cross-campus research initiatives; and
- supports researchers and entrepreneurs as they bring scientific discoveries, technological innovations, medical advances and new products to the marketplace to benefit society.
In keeping with Cornell’s land grant mission, Research & Innovation fosters scientific advances and economic development in New York state and around the world by facilitating innovation, technology translation and entrepreneurship.
